Greg Thompson

Thompson is a legspinner who has played six Lancashire 2nd XI matches but has yet to break into the usually strong first team. He represented Ireland at U-17 level and has an impressive record in ODI U-19 matches. In his seven matches to date, he has taken 12 wickets at an average of just over 18. He has only failed to take a wicket in one match, against Pakistan in which he only bowled two overs, and has a best of 5 for 49 against West Indies in his first match for Ireland Under-19s. Aside from cricket he enjoys playing hockey and golf, and watching movies.
