Eat at Corner House
It's a popular ice-cream haunt for locals in Bengaluru. The hot chocolate fudge there is to die for.
Breakfast at NMH on JC Road
The full form of this is New Modern Hotel. It's a really old place and my wife Sheethal introduced me to it. They serve an amazing breakfast and my favourite is their masala dosa roast. It's delicious.
Second brekkie at Brahmins in south Bengaluru
Again another breakfast place. It's one of the oldest and yummiest breakfast joints in Bengaluru and I love their idlis and kesari bath/sheera. My wife and I regularly frequent these places every time we are in Bengaluru.
Drive around Bengaluru
Whenever I have to make an important decision, I go for a drive in the city at night. Around Ring Road, the Mysore highway, on that beautiful stretch on Cubbon Road, or the airport road. Bengaluru is beautiful at night and driving helps me clear my mind and think. I just love driving.
Watch a play at the Rangashankara theatre
Bengaluru was known for theatre but over the years that reputation has faded a bit. Rangashankara still hosts great plays, though, and I enjoy going out and watching them. It has a different buzz about it. They run it professionally and make the whole process very enjoyable for you.
