Warwickshire continued India A's torture in the field with a strong batting display from all the way down the order as they piled on a mammoth 537, including a quickfire 74 from Graham Wagg at No. 9.
Resuming the day on 302 for 4, Warwickshire lost Ian Bell early on for 75 to give India A the start they needed. However, Tony Frost and Mo Sheikh (42) put on 82 for the sixth wicket, before Wagg caused some more mayhem with a thrilling 74 from 52 balls, including three fours and an astonishing seven sixes.
While Wagg had his fun, Collins Obuya played more serenely with 36 not out and shared 95 with the explosive Wagg. There wasn't much to shout about for the India A bowlers, although Amit Mishra did pick up five wickets - but for 183 runs. Shiv Sunder Das and Wasim Jaffer then played out 4.2 overs before bad light stopped play.
