Simon Jones fined for breaching ICC Code of Conduct

ICC Match Referee Ranjan Madugalle announced today the findings of a disciplinary hearing held under the ICC code of Conduct involving Simon Jones (England).
Simon Jones was charged by Billy Bowden, Rudi Koertzen (On field Umpires) Jeremy Lloyds (3rd Umpire) and Alan Jones (4th Umpire) with breaching section 1.6 of the ICC Code of Conduct for players.
1.6 - Pointing or gesturing towards the pavilion in an aggressive manner by a bowler or other member of the fielding side upon dismissal of a batsman.
Simon Jones pleaded guilty to the charge.
This offence falls into level 1 of the ICC Code of Conduct and after due consideration of the evidence and the circumstances, Match Referee Ranjan Madugalle imposed a penalty of 20% of the player's match fee.
The disciplinary hearing was attended by Simon Jones, Michael Vaughan (Captain) Phil Neale, England Team Manager, Billy Bowden, Rudi Koertzen, Jeremy Lloyds and Alan Jones (Umpires)
