Jammu & Kashmir took just an hour and a quarter to wrap up a seven
wicket victory against Services on the third day of their North Zone
Ranji Trophy clash at Jammu. J&K now move to 16 points from three
games while Services have just three from the same number.
Resuming at 44/1 in pursuit of a target of 108, J&K lost Ajay Bhatti
to the first ball of the day, bowled by Syed Javed. But that was only
a minor hiccup as Vijay Sharma (29) and Kanwaljeet Singh (29 not out)
steered the hosts to the doorstep of victory before the former
contrived to get himself out with one run required. Victory was sealed
two balls later.
