Hampshire chose from twelve to play Lancashire in the PPP healthcare County at the County Ground, Southampton, starting at the earlier date of Tuesday 23 May.
Alan Mullally is still nursing his stress fracture of the hip, but it is hopeful that he will return for next weeks floodlit match at the Oval. Alex Morris is still suffereing from the leg injury he sustained at Headingley.
Simon Francis who last played in the match v Zimbabwe is brought in for Simon Renshaw.
Director of Cricket: Tim Tremlett naming his squad, stated that due to the early season rain, and the state of the wickets at present, it is unlikely that Shaun Udal will play, but a decision on this will be made on the first morning.
