Essex sign Clinton

Essex County Cricket Club has signed Richard Clinton on a two-year contract. Richard, 19, joins us from Kent where he played in 1999 and 2000.

The son of former Kent and Surrey batsman Grahame, Richard is a talented left-handed batsman and a medium paced right-arm bowler.
