The XXXX Queensland Bulls will continue rookie pace bowler Scott Brant's steep learning curve with his selection today for Sunday's do-or-die ING Cup match against the Southern Redbacks in Adelaide.
The 19-year-old Brant, who made his first class debut in the Pura Cup match in progress against the Redbacks at the Adelaide Oval, retains his spot in the twelve in place of allrounder James Hopes, who is expected to miss the rest of the season with a foot injury.
In the only change to the Bulls side playing in the four-day match, batsman Clinton Perren replaces 12th man Matthew Anderson for Sunday's match.
Sunday's winner will host the Final of the ING Cup next Sunday, February 24, with NSW already booking their spot following last night's three-run win over the Western Warriors in Perth.
The Bull and Redbacks are locked on 27 points. The Redbacks comfortably defeated Queensland at the Gabba last week in their domestic one-day clash.
Queensland last hosted a domestic one-day Final in 1995-96, when they defeated WA, and won their last limited overs championship in 1997-98 when they overcame NSW at the SCG.
