Profile
Mark Jonkman may be a back-up bowler for the Netherlands at present, but his stock is rising: Holland's bowling coach Ian Pont believes he will soon be the quickest bowler outside the Test arena. Jonkman models his action on Brett Lee and hopes to play a similar role to the Australian with the bat as an aggressive lower-order batsman.
He has made an encouraging start to his international career and although the 2007 World Cup may be coming a little early for him to show off his talent, by the next one in 2011 he may well be Holland's stand-out player.
