Con de Lange is a left-arm spinner who signed for Northamptonshire on a two-year contract in 2012, after claiming 175 first-class wickets in his career in South African domestic cricket. He is also a useful batsman, with a first-class hundred to his name. De Lange's first season in England was a struggle, as he managed only three first-class wickets.
