For many years now Nayan Mongia has been India's number one wicketkeeper. Apart from being the keeper of the highest pedigree, the Baroda stumper has also shown more than once that he can handle the willow adeptly at the highest level. Dogged by allegations of matchfixing, Nayan Mongia found himself out of the Indian side for a time, before being cleared of charges. Even before the matchfixing setback reached Mongia's doorstep, injuries forced him out for a time. As many cricketers have found in the past, getting back into an Indian side after being out of the side, is easier said than done.
