The fourth day started with Blignaut and Streak bowling a searching and probing spell to the Indian skipper; the pace and movement ensured that Ganguly was playing his shots tentatively. Bliganut claimed the big wicket with a quick one on the middle stump, rapping Ganguly on the pads as he was playing the ball from his crease. The umpire had no doubt about what the delivery was going to hit: middle stump! Ganguly was dismissed lbw for nought and there was much celebration in the Zimbabwe camp.
