South Africa started off the tournament with a shiver, but after
the first match at The Oval where they lost to England by 6
wickets things took a turn,
they came back by winning the next two matches convincingly, and
now they are on top of the table.
Jacques Kallis is in blistering form, scoring over 300 runs in the
three matches, and that includes two back to back hundreds and an
82 not out,
he is on top of the batting averages list with a series average of
314.00!
and the bowlers list also has a South African on top, Makhaya Ntini
tops the list with six wickets from three matches.
Zimbabwe on the other hand started off with a surprising 4 wicket
win over England at Trent Bridge, thanks to a gutsy innings of
96* from Grant Flower, but lost their second match to South
Africa
and their third match had "No Result" in the Result column courtesy
