Tridents were off to a quick start but they lost Munaweera in the fifth over to a stunning catch from Daryl Mitchell •BCCI

But Jonathan Carter scored a 28-ball 30 and stitched a stand of 56 for the fourth wicket with James Franklin•BCCI

When they tried to up the run rate, Dilshan Munaweera struck twice, leaving the score at 76 for 4 after 13 overs•BCCI

Ravi Rampaul kept Knights in check with a spell of 3 for 34•BCCI

Carter fell to Sodhi, but Franklin stayed till the end and scored 11 in the last over to give Tridents a consolation six-wicket win•BCCI
