Matches in which there is no result on first innings not counted. Each team to play at least 12 home and 12 away matches in a season with no Test matches. Essex and Somerset were awarded 2.5 points each for a 'tied' match when the score finished level but Essex had one wicket to fall. Yorkshire v Nottinghamshire at Headingley, Derbyshire v Leicestershire at Chesterfield, Northamptonshire v Sussex at Northampton were abandoned without a ball being bowled. |
