PAKISTAN CRUISE TO VICTORY
 
Pakistan team manager Intikhab Alam led his team  to  a  crushing
143-run  victory  over an Eastern Cape Invitation XI in a 50-over
match on Tuesday.
 
It was hardly a testing comeback for the 52-year-old former  test
player as his side won with 18 overs to spare, having reduced the
invitation team to 12 for six at one stage.
 
Intikhab saved the match as  he  withdrew  his  opening  bowlers.
Shafiek  Abrahams  hit  an unbeaten 77, including seven fours, to
give the final total of 117 some respectability.
