Benefit match for the NSW fire victims.

South Africa won their match against a New South Wales invitation
team  by  19  runs.  South Africa scored 247/5 in their 50 overs,
with Cullinan (95*), Callaghan (50), Cronje (46) and Gary Kirsten
(32)  the  top scorers. In reply, NSW XI scored 228/10, with Mark
Waugh (59), Steve Waugh (52) and Slater (46) the top scorers. For
South Africa, Richard Snell took 4/22 in 9 overs. Donald, de Vil-
liers, Rhodes and Richardson didn't play,  while  Andrew   Hudson
failed yet again by scoring just 1 run.

More importantly, $150 000 was raised  to  help  victims  of  the
fires in New South Wales.
