Somerset opener Mark Lathwell was hoping for a special delivery a
new  bat  to  further boost his England A run spree.  The 21 year
old hit a superb 133   his highest one day score in  the 77   run
success against Eastern Transvaal.  But he ruined his only bat in
the process and now wants a couple of new ones flown  out  before
the four day match against Transvaal on Friday.
