Pro40 round-up Warwickshire end Notts' title hopes September 11, 2006 Warwickshire ended Nottinghamshire's hopes of winning the Pro40 title with a five-wicket win in a rain-affected match at Trent Bridge. After Nottinghamshire had set the visitors a competitive 192 - with David Hussey smacking 73 - Warwickshire's run-chase was cut short after 9.1 overs due to an electrical storm which meant the floodlights had to be lowered for safety reasons. After a brief but heavy rain interruption, this left Warwickshire a revised total of 122 from 21 overs and Tim Ambrose (29 from 25) and Heath Streak (17 from 10) ensured they reached it with seven balls to spare. © Cricinfo
